Built from
the ground up.
I was born in Houston, Texas and spent my early years moving between there and El Salvador, where my family is from. I grew up partly in Soyapango, a city shaped by real hardship. That environment taught me things no classroom can: what genuine struggle looks like, and what it costs people who do not find a way out.
When I was nine years old my family moved to Canada. I started grade six in a new country, learned English from scratch, and figured out who I was going to be. I built my life here from scratch, the same way I have approached everything since.
In 2023, at a point where nothing felt certain, I made a decision. Nobody was going to save me. So I took a bus to Texas alone, got my US passport, got my license, and started building with intention. Not because someone handed me a plan but because I needed one and I was done waiting.
Since then I have been working full-time, studying for my BCom in Accounting at York University, earning certifications, and showing up to every opportunity with everything I have. I am twenty years old. Everything I have, I built. And I am just getting started.
"Nobody is going to save you. So you save yourself."
